After I hit a tonne of slapshots at a couple of goalies, one of them (we will call him Richard) said boastfully, "I blocked a bunch of shots!"

The other goalie, (we will call him Gary), replied with, "Yeah, all two of them."

   
I bring this story up, because it is hilarious, but it does have a moral :)

While Richard was focused on his activity, aka "the blocked shots", Gary focused on the results.

In business, it is easy to tally up activities: calls made, emails sent, projects started. But true success is not measured by how busy we are; it is measured by the impact of what we achieve.
